My name is Andrew Starr, and I am the Next Generation Pastor at First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth, NE. Have you ever thought about what the next generation will be able to accomplish in their lifetime? What challenges will they face? What success will they have? What mountains will they climb? What valleys will they endure? Proverbs 22:4 says, “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honor, and life.” We all want the next generation to have riches and honor and life.
At First Baptist Church, our youth group exists to help the next generation believe on Jesus, belong to family, become a disciple of Christ and build His kingdom! We strive to accomplish this by creating an atmosphere of love that is fun while being centered on the study of the Word of God. Our youth team is ready to help your teen find a community of love, push them to have a blast, and teach them to love God and His Word. I would like to personally invite your teen to join us at First Baptist.

- Prayer Share: A time for group prayer sessions where we come together to pray for each other and our community.
- Attributes of God: Dive deep into understanding the character and nature of God.
- Game Night: Enjoy fun and fellowship with a variety of exciting games.
- Split Sessions: Separate groups for guys and girls to dive deep into the Word, addressing topics relevant to each group.
